Philly Tech Sistas and Women in Data have partnered to bring you a night of Fierce Conversations! The Fierce Conversations series is meant to build meaningful connections between attendees and provide women with the opportunity to find their voices and share their experiences. This interactive panel discussion will be led by some of Philly’s most connected women in tech as they share their diverse experiences entering into the tech space and opening up about conversations that have had a profound impact on their lives.
Conversations are the foundation of all relationships. And part of your career advancement will involve relationship building with partners, co-workers, and various stakeholders. The ability to have open and honest conversations will take you far, whether you’re asking for a raise, dealing with a work conflict, or addressing issues with your friends and family.
What to Expect:
Hear from a diverse panel about the steps they've taken and the conversations they've had that have had a profound impact on their lives and careers. These women will reveal what’s worked, what hasn’t worked and the mistakes they’ve learned along the way. The theme of this series is inspired by the book Fierce Conversations by Susan Scott.
Not Your Average Panel:
This isn’t just another boring panel discussion. After we hear from our amazing speakers, participants will split up into break out groups to further discuss ways to overcome challenges, get clear on your career goals for 2020, and think about more ways you can have fierce conversations! We all have relevant experiences to share and this brings us closer together. This is an opportunity to engage with other like-minded individuals in the community and connect with the speakers!
